Kathleen Wigan

 

  • Kathleen is an Australian artist, originally from Hobart Tasmania. She works with acrylic, water colours and textural mediums. Her work has been influenced by experiences with travel where she discovered the discipline of water colour with Asian themes, respecting space, protecting light and featuring the use of intentional marks. Since returning to Sydney, Kathleen has been captivated by the texture and tangibility of working the natural materials. With every passing day, a greater awareness of Sustainability, recycling and the importance of minimizing waste has become a powerful priority.
