Frequently walking at length through the bushlands and beaches nearest her home, she habitually photographs the surrounding scenes and settings in an effort to establish a connection to the locale. After producing several sketches, her works develop through a myriad of layers, typically created in acrylics on canvas. Her previous profession in floristry greatly informs her practice and is largely responsible for the way in which she distributes colour, decides the composition of flora, and depicts the scape.
