She finds immense joy in working with oil paints and thrives on arranging objects to narrate stories, evoke nostalgia, and breathe new life into overlooked treasures. The allure of blue and white china, a passion inherited from her mother, permeates her work. Exploring reflections in her artistic expression has become a captivating endeavour, adding depth and intrigue to her creations. Tina’s art journey is a never-ending adventure, full of exploration, learning, and a deep love for the beauty surrounding her.
Since returning to painting, Tina Bennett has exhibited in multiple galleries across Geelong and Melbourne, expanding her reach to Orange and Brisbane in 2025. She has been recognized as a finalist in several national art prizes, including the Unearthed Art Prize, Inside the Box Art Prize, Petite Pieces, the Feel Good Art Prize, and the 9x5 Exhibition. In 2024, she received one of six Honourable Mentions in the Best Art Awards for Still Life, as the only Australian to receive an award.
