Robyn’s practice draws heavily on nature, in which the intention is to create a sense of quiet disquiet. Working in layers, allowing paint to react creating textured and found colors, she uses automatic mark-making details are a gestural response to the energy she gains from nature and the ideas which she transfers to her vibrant canvases.
