Water is vital for the survival of both humans and animals. For some creatures, water is not only their home but also their primary source of sustenance. The Green sea turtle, for instance, spends nearly all of its life in the ocean, only venturing onto land to lay its eggs. Similarly, the Azure kingfisher depends on rivers for its habitat and to find food.
However, pollution poses the most significant threat to these species. The two biggest culprits are plastic waste and chemical runoff, which endanger the health and well-being of aquatic creatures.
