Pink Tranquillity

Pink Tranquillity is an oil painting of an Australian pink cockatoo, painted on a 20cm x 20cm cradled wood panel, and the edges are 3.8cm wide, allowing these pieces to stand on a shelf if required. The sides are painted and the piece is unframed, but ready to hang. I have painted it with palette knives to create gorgeous texture in the feathers as well as the soothing background.

Pink Tranquillity is the softer, gentler and quieter of the two pink cockatoos, and loves a quiet night in, watching a funny movie.
I paint colourful, textured art that evokes a sense of joy and love. I combine what I see in nature with what I feel in my heart to create art that brings pure joy to the world.
