With this painting I wanted to portray light, colour, sun and activity - ‘a typical day at a Queensland beach’. Rainbow Bay is always buzzing during the nipper carnival season. The nippers wear hot pink swimmers which along with all the coloured umbrellas create this wonderful colourful atmosphere. I just had yo record the complete story.
