Luminosity

'Luminosity' was inspired by the luscious landscape which surrounds me in Tasmania. We live on an acre of land which backs onto the beach, and I am surrounded by colours of green and blue. The environment which surrounds me is both beautiful and energising, and I aimed to convey this in 'Luminosity'. I included a variety of line work, textures and values within the piece to create energy and interest. The over-sized flower is both a focal point and a symbol of the joy that I feel about living here.
