“No, you go first” is inspired by the intertwined fates of the Mountain Pygmy Possum and the Bogong Moth.

In 2021 the Bogong Moth was declared endangered, with numbers declining on a species that was once so plentiful it would blanket Parliament House. This spelt disaster for the critically endangered Mountain Pygmy Possum but all is not lost as December 2022 saw Bogong numbers increasing again.
