"Chasing Clouds" is a series of Jessica Davidson's most recent work, focusing on the sky and landscapes.

The paintings were composed based on a collection of memories of seeing cloud formations and familiar places. By working with soft hues and tones, the artist added a touch of a dreamlike atmosphere in each painting.

Jessica Davidson is an artist from Blue Mountains, NSW.

Fascinated by the ordinary scenes of everyday life and things often taken for granted (like the sky), she intends to capture the beauty of the ordinary things and bring it to the viewer's attention.

Working primarily with oil, she paints in an intuitive manner, constantly experimenting with colour harmony which shows in her recent collection of contemporary works."
