I love painting these simple objects that have surrounded me throughout my life; they bring back great memories of meals shared with family and friends.”

Christine Moult, a self-taught Sydney-based artist with roots in food and design, draws inspiration from her vast collection of ceramics, jugs, and vases. Using oil on board and embracing alla prima, Christine skillfully captures the interplay of light, creating vivid scenes with loose brush strokes and a rich palette. Her works are inspired by the understated beauty of everyday objects.
