Fiona Coward is an emerging artist based in Brisbane, working primarily in acrylics and known for her considered use of layering and glazing techniques. Her practice explores the shifting qualities of light, movement and reflection within the natural environment, capturing moments that feel both transient and immersive.
Her work has been recognised through several awards and finalist selections, including Best in Show at the Lilly-Lee Studios and Gallery Art Show (2022), finalist in the Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award (2023), and multiple People’s Choice Awards in 2024 and 2025.
