Banner for Mandy Dollery

Mandy Dollery loves creating little eclectic and vintage inspired living room scenes, a nostalgic flashback to comfy old chairs, or maybe a favourite spot you’d rather be. The natural timber grain of the re-purposed plywood represents timber floors, sometimes the walls, and the paper transfers she makes are like well-worn wallpaper or rugs. Each one is created with love and ready for you to make up your own little story to go with it.

Mandy Dollery’s journey into the arts was interrupted by life’s responsibilities. Later she questioned why she was climbing the corporate ladder in a field that didn’t use her creativity so left her employment to study the arts. Having completed her Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design and winning Student of the Year in 2017 Mandy has turned her passion into her career. Having previously owned The Space – Gallery + Workshops in Victoria, helping emerging artists reach their potential, she has now moved to Queensland and will be spending more time on furthering her own career as an artist.

Mandy wears many hats – Graphic Designer, Artist, Muralist, Mentor, Art Teacher and co-owns Framed in Cooee with her partner - and they all work beautifully together.
